Kola Boof - Womanist and Poet Speaks Out

"EVERY LITTLE BIT HURTS" In broad daylight I am expected to see nothing. I am a girl; low and dark as the crease of shadow from which I swam. ... For out of bare breasts our hearts are LEAPING of warm oceans: the brown eyes of our daughters ... We kiss it up to God. Because every little bit hurts.

Kola Boof or Kola for short was born Naima Binte Farouk on March 3, 1972.  Kola´s Pappuh Mahdi (father) was an extremely lightskinned Arab-Muslim from Egypt. He "purchased" Kola´s mother for marriage (which is normal in African society-men pay a marriage dowry). Kola´s mother was a Blue Black Gisi-Waaq of Somalia´s Oromo nomads, her name was Jiddi and she was the daughter of her tribe´s Chief. Princess Jiddi was fourteen when she married archeologist Harith Bin Farouk. Because neither of Kola´s parents were Sudanese, Kola Boof is often criticized about it. Asked by "Arab Northerners" to call herself Egyptian-Somali instead of Sudanese. But Kola Boof was born in Omdurman (along Nile River) Sudan. She is Sudanese!  At a very young age, Kola witnessed the killing of her parents in Omdurman by Murahleen Tribesmen.  Later Kola was put up for adoption by her Egyptian grandmother, Najet Kolbookek, because the grandmother felt that Kola's skin color was too dark for inclusion in her father's Arabic family.  At the age of 12, Boof was adopted and raised by Black Americans. She credits her teen years in the lower class Anacostia Park section of Washington D.C. with giving her "the nerve and skill of a hornet". 

During her 1996 travel to Marrakech, Morocco, she basically bullied into become Osama Bin Laden's mistress and forced into sexual servitude for 6 months.   According to Kola, the fact that her vagina is "infibulated" (as ritual) and marked tribally was Osama's main physical attraction to her and Osama enjoyed causing her pain during intercourse.  She escaped from Laden's grip and move to Spain.

Infibulated Vagina is a procedure where the tissue around the vagina is sewn shut, leaving only a small opening for the passage of urine and menstrual blood.  This procedure is used for social and cultural control of women's sexuality.  In some cultures this has been a tradition for hundreds of years, this procedure is considered a rite of passage for young girls.

Kola Boof began her writing career in 1997 when Ethiopian businessman Russom Damba financed the publication of her stunning poetry collection, Every Little Bit Hurts. They launched the book in Morocco and Southern Europe-and it caught on with feminists, but not many others.   Later her short story collection was published, Long Train to the Redeeming Sin - Stories About African Women, which was originally released and titled, The Goddess Flowers.  Long Train to the Redeeming Sin became a smash hit at African-American Literary Book Club.  In 2002, Boof entered seclusion to protect her family and herself after an attempt was made on her life outside Los Angeles by Islamic extremists. In 2003 a UN report revealed that a court in Khartoum, Sudan had issued a “FATWA" death sentence, ordering that she be beheaded for the books she wrote and for her public condemnation of slavery, misogyny and terrorism in North Africa.

Kola Boof was once asked by the media as to why she was photographed topless, she replied "I am topless to honor my mothers and grandmothers, my own African womenfolk who were always bare breasted in the sun and who gave birth to this whole world. They created and sustained the natural world."

However in 2004 she decided to return to public light and edicated her life to the empowerment of people of African descent, especially women. That year, Kola Boof's sexy black love story Flesh and the Devil, was released in the U.S. and became an instant bestseller. The novel brilliantly chronicles 26,000 years of BLACK LOVE beginning in Africa and ending up in modern day Washington, D.C. and Sag Harbor.   In 2005, Kola Boof released two new books: her autobiography, Diary of a Lost Girl, in and a collection of erotic stories, Black Cat, written when she was 18.

Kola Boof, an American citizen who now lives in L.A., says she is under federal protection.

Kola Boof slavery propaganda exposed

Sheikh Omar Bakri, a senior judge of the Islamic sharia court in London "My own view is that Ms. Kola Boof wants to make use of this to help her in selling her books. It is a bizarre exercise in public relations".

Ms Boof´s claims about her early life were flawed. She alleged that Murahleen Tribesmen killed her parents in Omdurman. These horsemen are only found in southern Kordofan, several hundred miles away from Omdurman. Ms Boof´s claim that her father was murdered in 1978 for speaking "up against...the brutish Islamic government of Sudan" similarly jars with reality.  In 1978 Sudan was resolutely secular, governed by President Jaafar Nimeiri, a close American ally whose government was one of the largest recipients of international American economic and military assistance. The present Islamic government in Sudan only came to power in 1989.

According to the New York Times, Kola Boof was a B-movie actress and a high level prostitute, operating in luxury hotels. It was during this time in Morocco that Ms Boof also claimed to have had an affair with Osama bin Laden in 1996. She claimed that it was a four month sexual relationship in Morocco. She had met Osama in a Senegalese restaurant in Marrakech. She claimed that she subsequently became "Osama´s mistress" and that she had "lounged about in silk and diamonds".  According to reliable sources, Osama bin Laden is one of the most watched men (1996 was the year he left Sudan and move into Afghanistan) in the world, there is no record whatsoever of he was in Morocco in 1996.  Osama Bin Laden is a deeply religious person according to Carmen Bin Laden (Sister-in-law of Osama) in her book The Veiled Kingdom, she wrote "Osama (on seeing me without a veil) was making rapid back-off gestures with his hand, waving me aside and muttering something in Arabic, but I truly didn't understand what he meant. Mafouz (Sheik Khalid Salim Bin Mahfouz's ’s sister is married to Osama) could see that I was seemingly lacking in the basics of social etiquette, and he finally explained that Osama could not see my naked face".

In an interview with the New York Times, Ms Boof admitted to being manipulative: "I can't deny that I'm a conniving person. I have to manipulate the system, and I don't mind if you publish that..."  The newspaper later discredited the fatwa claim.  This could be one of the most impressively spun and choreographed pieces of fiction that one could imagine.

Where on Earth is Osama?

• 1957 Born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
• 1970 High School in Lebanon (1970).
• 1976 Return to Jeddah (1976) to study in King Abdul-Aziz University.
• 1981 Osama Bin Laden visits mujahedeen refugees and fighers in Pakistan (1981) who fled after Soviet Invastion of Afghanistan. He sympathizes with them and begins collecting funds and supplies for the mujahedeen.
• 1982 Osama Bin Laden visits Afghanistan (1982) with construction machinery which he uses to help the mujahedeen.  He later established the guesthouse in Peshawar which becomes the first stop for Arab mujahedeen before they start training or go to the front.  Osama Bin Laden builds his own command and training camps in Afghanistan and begins leading battles himself.  By 1988, his command complex is called "The Base" or Al-Qa´edah (al-Qaeda). He starts recording and tracking visitors to the Base and movement between the guesthouse and camps.
• 1989 Osama Bin Laden went to South Yemen (1989) and was banned from travel because he gave speeches warning of an imminent invasion by Sadam Hussein, which was embarrassing to the Yemeni leadership who had a good relationship with Hussein.  After the 1990 Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, he volunteered to the king of South Yemen to bring all the Arab mujahedeen to protect the kingdom.
• 1991 was a busy year for Osama Bin Laden.  With his travel restrictions lifted he South Yemen and goes to Pakistan (1991) and then on to Afghanistan (1991) by late 1991 he goes to Khartoum, Sudan (1991).  
• 1994 the Saudi´s announce publicly their opposition to Osama Bin Laden and withdraw his citizenship.
• 1996 Osama Bin Laden flees Sudan and goes to Jalalabad, Afghanistan (1996) and from there he issued his first anti-American message, a Declaration of War, stating his intentions to expel American forces outside the Arabian Peninsula.    By late 1996 the Taliban has taken control of large part of Afghanistan. Mullah Omer, the leader of Taliban, promises him protection.  In 1998 saw Osama Bin Laden forming the "International Front" and announces a "fatwah" sanctioning killing Jews and Americans. 
• 2001 Osama Bin Laden Laden visited Morocco accompanied with a group of forty "Arab Afghans and allegedly stayed in Morocco for three months.  He supposedly has a bank account in Morocco and the necessary funds to carry out this operation.  main mission in the Moroccan territory was to furnish and help Algerian terrorist groups.
• February 2002, it is reported that Osama Bin Laden is hiding somewhere in Pakistan (2002).

Who is this Osama?

Osama Bin Laden (bin Ladin) born to Syrian mother in 1957, reportedly the seventh son among 50 brothers and sisters. His father Mohammed Awad bin Laden owned the biggest construction company in the kingdom of South Yemen has many wives.  Young Osama was was raised largely by nurses and nannies.  Osama father is rather fond of him as they both loved camping in the desert, and was pleased with his outdoor skills.  The relationship with his father was probably the most important thing in Osama's life as a young boy, and he felt abandoned when his father died in a helicopter crash when he was only ten.  The household was dispersed, and he was sent to live with his mother, whom he hardly knew.

He became friends with several of King Fahd's sons, with whom he enjoyed many adventures in the countryside. He also picked up their attitudes toward women as objects to be enjoyed for recreational purposes and as status symbols.   He was sent to Lebanon high school to study.  He spent much of his time in fashionable night clubs with other wealthy young playboys, often in the company of blonde prostitutes.  In 1974, at the age of 17, Osama marries a Syrian girl named Najwah, who is a relative and they when on to have 7 children. 

However his study and revelry was rudely interrupted by the outbreak of the Lebanese civil war.  The family brought him back home and sent him to the university in Jeddah.   In Jeddah, Osama was given considerable religious instruction and by this time it widely believed that Osama felt guilty about his indulgent excesses in Lebanon and got deeply religious.  After the Soviets invaded Afghanistan in 1979, Osama Bin Laden supported the Afghan resistance.  Osama obtains a degree in public administration from King Abdul-Aziz university, Jeddah in 1981.  Read Inside the Kingdom by Carmen Bin Ladin.

What is Osama occupation?

• 1993 - Osama Bin Laden claimed responsibility for an attempted bombing on US soldiers in Yemen, and Somalia.  He was involved in the car bombing outside of the World Trade Center in the United States.
• 1996 - Osama Bin Laden was responsible for the bombing of the Khobar Towers, a United States military complex in Saudi Arabia.  It is alleged that Osama Bin Laden is responsible for a massacre of some German tourists in Egypt. 
• 1998 - American embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed within 9 minutes of each other killing 224 people. 
• 2001 - World Trade Center twin towers destroyed by hijaaked commercial airline flights crashing into upper floors. Entire buildings collapsed. Manhattan is evacuated. Commercial airliner also crashes into Pentagon building in Washington, D.C. causing major damage and fire. All federal buildings are closed and evacuated and leaving 2,500 person dead.
