Each day we will air spritural talk.  We focuses on personal spiritual development and gaining a deep insight into the true nature of life.  We discuss the teaching of Buddha.  Buddhism doesn't demand blind faith or belief, and encourages people to test its teachings against personal experience.

Why is Buddhism different?

Buddhism differs from many other faiths because it's not centred on the relationship between people and God.  Buddhists don't believe in a personal creator or a God, they don't recognise the concept of a "Saviour" and they don't believe in Heaven and Hell.

The Bare Essentials of Buddhism

  • Buddhism was founded by Siddhartha Gautama in India and is 2,500 years old
  • There are 350 million Buddhists worldwide.
  • They believe that the path to Enlightenment or Buddhahood is through the practice and development of morality, meditation, and wisdom.
  • Buddhists don't believe in a creator God or a personal God, but they're tolerant of people with different beliefs.
  • Buddhists don't believe anything is fixed or permanent - change is always possible.
  • Buddhism teaches that all life is interconnected, so compassion is natural and important.
