1) Paperback Book Vampire Kisses 2: Kissing Coffins by HarperTeen. 16 year old Goth girl Raven has just received the shock of her life. Her boyfriend from Romania is a real live vampire. Now she is struggling with a big decision. Does she want to leave behind her normal life to become a cool ghoul? Spend her days in a coffin, and never be able to see her reflection? She hopes to be able to find Alexander at the coffin club. Instead she finds his nemesis! Now everything´s gone completely insane. See what happens next in Kissing Coffins!

It will get your interest very fast. It´s so good you´ll probably be upset when you have to stop reading it. I thought the book was great. It´s very romantic. Most people would like it in my opinion; although not the most creative, it really makes up for itself in other ways such as the humor.

Buy more than one of the books in this series at a time because they are rather small, though. If you have not read the first book here is a link:

2) Paperback Book Vampire Kisses 2: Kissing Coffins by HarperTeen. When an author proves that she has not done her research, especially on a book´s primary theme, she tells me that she has no credibility as an author and can rest assured I will never recommend a book written by her.

Raven´s "gothic music taste" consists of Good Charlotte and Evanescence - both bands pop-rock, without any affiliation with the gothic subculture whatsoever.

By this tidbit, it becomes obvious that Ellen Schreiber relied on stereotypes and urban myths to create her series. Sadly enough, she´s extended it into a series after the awful Vampire Kisses...

I noticed in a later edition that her "music taste" was revised into "Bauhaus, Korn and Marilyn Manson." Kudos for Bauhaus, this was probably only after a million letters complaining about how inaccurate she was. But alas, the Korn/Manson stereotype comes out again.

The moral of the story is, if an author cannot take the time out of her day to research a topic, she shouldn´t be PUBLISHING BOOKS ABOUT THINGS SHE DOESN´T KNOW.

The end.¤

3) Paperback Book Vampire Kisses 2: Kissing Coffins by HarperTeen. The story keeps getting better and better. I am already in the fourth one and I cant seem to keep the characters out of my head. I love it and Raven is amazing along with the great Sterling.¤

4) Paperback Book Vampire Kisses 2: Kissing Coffins by HarperTeen. Please, please tell me this is a parody of the already laughable vampire romance genre. I could barely get through Stephanie Meyer´s /Twilight/ without rolling my eyes, but this almost made me physically ill. Imagine a Harlequin romance meets the worst of Laurell K. Hamilton, witten by an emo 13 year old girl, and you might get an idea of what /Kissing Coffins/ is like.

Syntactially speaking, it was a snore. Very little variation in sentence structure or voice, and I would´ve found the vocabulary interesting somewhere in junior high. The author frequently name-drops goth culture icons (Hot Topic, Edward Scissorhands, Marilyn Manson, etc) like anvils, without any real effect, beyond proving herself to be a clueless wannabe.

Now, let´s move on to the heroine, Raven (both the color of her flowing, silky tresses and deep soul): can you say Mary Sue? She never does anything wrong. She´s always sweet, kind, and caring. Every non-attached male even remotely close to her own age (and one that isn´t) falls hard for her; immediately. I mean, she´s got the oh-so-pretty captain of the soccer team, her Gothic Guy, and a creepy, semi-insane vampire all dueling for her affection. And she claims to be such an outcast! Woe is her.

And of course there´s the Love Intrest. Goth Emo Vampire Artist, Sterling. Her Gothic Guy (she actually calls him this), her Dark Knight. When he and Raven aren´t staring soulfully into each other´s eyes and professing their undying love for the fifth time that chapter, they´re pining because fate hath cruelly parted them.

I´ve read hundreds of different books, which have inspired hundreds of different emotions in me: love, hatred, fear, grief, joy, and exhiliration. This one left me with only nausea.¤

5) Paperback Book Vampire Kisses 2: Kissing Coffins by HarperTeen. they are back together and i´m so happy. the end made go out and buy the 3rd and 4th books i can´t wait to read then and see what luna is up to.¤

6) Paperback Book Vampire Kisses 2: Kissing Coffins by HarperTeen.

Not far from Dullsville, someone´s lurking in the dark. . . .

After meeting the handsome and shadowy Alexander Sterling, goth-girl Raven´s dark world has a bright, new glow. But as in her favorite movie, Kissing Coffins, Raven knows that love always has its complications, especially when Alexander has a big secret to guard.

When Alexander suddenly disappears, Raven leaves Dullsville to begin a dangerous search to find him. Can she stay safe, no matter who—or what—she encounters on the way?
