I started to use this book and chart my cycles when my husband and I were first trying to conceive. I found I was ovulating too late and after 6 cycles brought it to my OB and he was able to see right away that I needed to have some ovulatory stimulation (clomid). Long story short, after 5 mos of Clomid, I saw an RE and had 2 IUI cycles with injectibles (DH was also part of the fertility probelm). We conceived twins and after an eventful pregnancy, had our babies.
2) Paperback Book Taking Charge of Your Fertility: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control and Pregnancy Achievement by Harper Perennial. I´m twenty-six, still in college, and soon to be married. A few months ago, I had a pulmonary embolism (blood clot), and I can no longer use any form of hormonal birth control. This was devastating for my fiance and I. I talked to a couple of doctors, and they had very little to offer me as a solution. Then, I ran into an old friend who has been married for four years, using this (FAM) as her only birth control method. She recommended this book to me. It is a lot of reading (the book is very thick, but don´t be intimidated!), but it´s worthwhile for the information it provides. It´s also well written--the author has a great sense of humor, so it makes for an enjoyable read. This book has been so helpful to me!¤ 3) Paperback Book Taking Charge of Your Fertility: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control and Pregnancy Achievement by Harper Perennial. I purchased this book shortly after getting married b/c we wanted to start a family. I bought this book in August, and was prego by mid-Sept. I only completed 1 full cycle of charting b/c I was pregnant my next cycle! Her methods work.
4) Paperback Book Taking Charge of Your Fertility: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control and Pregnancy Achievement by Harper Perennial. Lots of info all under one book. You can find a lot of thoses info online but it´s incredibly convenient to have it all under one book. I use the website fertilityfriend to chart my cycle and it´s of great use. Loads of info there too, charting forum etc...
5) Paperback Book Taking Charge of Your Fertility: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control and Pregnancy Achievement by Harper Perennial. There are not words to describe how great this book is. It is not only for women (or men) trying to concieve, but it also points out how to use natural birth control. I used this book to conceive my second child and it worked like a charm. I did not have fertility issues, but I found that I was not getting pregnant as quickly as I wanted to, and I got pregant the month that I read the book and implemented some of the suggestions. I cannot recommend this book enough!!¤ 6) Paperback Book Taking Charge of Your Fertility: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control and Pregnancy Achievement by Harper Perennial. An invaluable aid to couples facing infertility, this is the first book to fully detail the techniques of the groundbreaking Fertility Awareness Method--the exciting natural alternative to present methods of birth control.¤ 7) Paperback Book Taking Charge of Your Fertility: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control and Pregnancy Achievement by Harper Perennial. This comprehensive book explains in lucid, assured terms how to practice the fertility awareness method (FAM), a natural, scientifically proven but little-known form of birth control (which is not to be confused with the woefully ineffective "rhythm" method). Author Toni Weschler has been teaching fertility awareness for almost 20 years, and it´s only just now gaining in popularity. As the book explains, by using simple fertility signs including peaks in morning body temperature and changes in cervical position and cervical mucus, it´s possible to determine when ovulation is taking place. Fertility awareness is therefore useful for not only couples who are trying to conceive, but for those who are aiming to avoid pregnancy without the use of chemical contraceptives. It will be of special interest to those women who have suffered from infertility; many FAM practitioners have told the author that by filling in the detailed charts in the book, they´ve realized that they were chronically miscarrying, even when their doctors told them they weren´t conceiving at all. As the book explains, by charting body temperature, it´s simple to tell when pregnancy has occurred--and when there´s danger of miscarriage. Taking Charge of Your Fertility also explains how to choose the sex of your baby by timing intercourse according to certain fertility signs. It also features thorough, easy-to-understand explanations of hormones, the menstrual cycle, and menopause, along with fertility tests and treatments and their long- and short-term side effects, plus a topnotch resource section. Recommended for any woman who wants to better understand her body. --Erica Jorgensen¤ Page Updated: Robert N. Goolsby, 9-Jan-2009, 00609505369780060950538, 780-360-120-680-BOB-G0B-0KB-ZEB-VKB-8
