Have you heard of Skateboard Renegade by Matt Christopher? It´s about a boy named Zach and his friends who want to get their ears pierced. They also want to get tattoos. So Zach steals his sister´s money to get his ear pierced. Then he tries to get his tattoo, but doesn´t have enough money. I like the book because it has a bit of skateboarding, and I´m learning how to skateboard. It is an awesome book. If you like sports then this book is for you. If you read this book and like it, read the other Matt Christopher´s books.

How about none of the above? When Zach takes up skateboarding, he doesn´t realize that he´s expected to look a certain way-and cop a certain attitude, too. At least that´s what it seems lie.
