1) Mass Market Paperback Book Rise and Shine: A Novel by Ballantine Books. Anna Quindlen has to be one of America´s best writers. Her non-fiction is perceptive, clear, and honest. Her latest novel exhibits Quindlen´s talent is not limited to the reflective essay, however. Rise and Shine´s characters are well-drawn and the plot is fast-paced and interesting enough to keep you reading. . .until the very end, which seemed a bit pat.

2) Mass Market Paperback Book Rise and Shine: A Novel by Ballantine Books. While this book was well written, I could barely make it through. For one thing, I liked Bridget but couldn´t stand Meghan. Basically, a lot happens early on and then nothing for a while. The ending was nice and tidy but so expected.¤

I was not familiar with the title or the author but went along with the group. It is an easy, quick read and very, very enjoyable and thought provoking. It is hard to put down.¤

5) Mass Market Paperback Book Rise and Shine: A Novel by Ballantine Books. I am not sure if I am supposed to feel sorry or hate Meghan. Am I supposed to be sorry that she is a millionaire several times over and feels closed in by her self made life? If that is the case then I hate her.
I do not recommend this book and I was shocked that someone would acutally publish it. It was full of whine, whine, whine.¤
