1) Paperback Book Fatherhood by Berkley Trade. I read this book as a young father and didn´t get too much encouragement from of it. I loved Cosby´s comic routines and the Cosby Show, but I guess I was expecting some deeper insights on fathering more than all the cynical humor about all the trouble kids cause their parents. I also wondered why the book needed a lengthy introduction and afterward by a Harvard psychiatrist. Dr. Poussaint seemed to be trying to salvage Cosby´s content with some expert professional advice on raising kids. Not that this advice was any more helpful, but I would rather have had it from from Cosby himself, in his own words and experience, than from an academic.¤

2) Paperback Book Fatherhood by Berkley Trade. I really liked that book.
It was hilarious and very fun to read
its a book you shouldnt miss if you are a father or a kid ...¤

3) Paperback Book Fatherhood by Berkley Trade. "Fatherhood" is the second book I´ve read by Bill Cosby, and I greatly enjoyed it more than "Childhood," as this book covers both what it´s like to be a child and a parent. The humor is funny, and while it´s not sidesplitting funny, it´ll make you chuckle and smile. A good quick read. I recommend.¤

4) Paperback Book Fatherhood by Berkley Trade. Bill Cosby´s warm and gentle humor is a pleasure to read, and his observations on the travails of parenting will ring true to almost any parent. He highlights kids who don´t listen, kids who don´t study, kids who won´t move out -- and he admits to having a soft heart for all of them. While there are few hard laughs in this book, there are many chuckles and knowing smiles.

By contrast, the introduction and afterword by Alvin F. Poussaint are overlong, stuffy and completely unnecessary. Skip them.¤

5) Paperback Book Fatherhood by Berkley Trade. I am a senior in high school, and I have just finished the popular book Fatherhood by Bill Cosby. As most of us already know, Bill Cosby is a comical man. He puts a comedic twist on most everything he says, yet in a serious way. I enjoy how he can mix reailty with comedy, which is why I enjoyed this book so much. I give this book a very high rating and hope others will also.

I am not a father myself, but reading this book gave me advice for the future. The book was set up in chapters that coordinated with the different stages in his kids lives. Bill Cosby talked about the joys of having kids, along with the bad experiences he had with them. He also explained the relationship that he had with his wife, which was interesting. There were many parts in the book that I could relate to within my family. The book was just extraordinary in the details included.

The thing that I liked the most about this book was the fact that he used life like details instead of making his family seem like the Brady Bunch. He wasn´t afraid to add embarassing moments he had, or times that frustrated him. The book was overall very intellegently put together. I liked this book, and would reccomend it to others in hopes for help from this expert.¤

6) Paperback Book Fatherhood by Berkley Trade. The perennial #1 nationwide bestseller-and now, a hit animated series on Nick at Nite.

From Bill Cosby, America´s favorite TV dad, comes the ideal gift for Father´s Day...

Fatherhood is...

- Pretending the present you love most is soap-on-a-rope
- Helping your children learn English as a foreign language
- Knowing that "Everything´s okay, Dad" means "I haven´t killed anyone"
- ...and more priceless advice and hilarious wisdom.¤
