1) Mass Market Paperback Book Hostage to Pleasure (Psy-Changelings, Book 5) by Berkley. Ms. Singh keeps up the good work, putting out another great entry in the Psi/Changeling series. While this book has a bit too many POVs for my taste, it´s still a compelling read. One word of caution: don´t jump into the middle of this series. Start from the beginning or you´ll be too lost to fully appreciate the unique universe Ms. Singh has created.¤

2) Mass Market Paperback Book Hostage to Pleasure (Psy-Changelings, Book 5) by Berkley. I think that Nalini Singh got so wrapped up in her science fiction plot, that she almost forgot to write the romance in her latest Psy-changeling book. I loved her first three installments in this series due to the highly interesting plot, sensuality, and intense emotional connection between the main characters. However, this most recent book was almost devoid of sensuality and I could care less by the time they actually had a lovescene (which was good, because the lovescene was so short).

Nalini Singh seems to be getting out of the romance business like so many romance novelists who finally get a good fan base. We just keep buying, hoping that they revert back to how they were in the beginning.¤

3) Mass Market Paperback Book Hostage to Pleasure (Psy-Changelings, Book 5) by Berkley. The situation between the Psy, the Changelings, and the humans is about to take a new turn....

Dorian Christensen despises the Psy and their Silence with every fiber of his Changeling heart. Having lost his sister to a Psy corrupted by Silence, he sees only the dark side of it. Psy Ashaya Aleine should be anathema to him, with her cold scientific Silence and her willingness to avoid any contact with her son. However, Dorian can´t deny the passion Ashaya ignites within him. Can there be a happy ending for these two so very different people?

Wow, each new book in the Psy-Changeling series just gets better and better! Nalini Singh creates such tension and turmoil between her characters that it would seem impossible for there to be a happily-ever-after... and yet each time, she makes it work. And boy, does it ever work in HOSTAGE TO PLEASURE! The passion between Dorian and Ashaya is a little different than some of the other books because of Ashaya´s secrets. At first, I thought Ashaya´s story would read somewhat like Judd´s story (see CARESSED BY ICE) but Ashaya´s secrets are much, much more intense and complex than any we´ve seen yet. Nalini Singh made me cry in more than one place in HOSTAGE TO PLEASURE as the sheer depth of emotion is so overwhelmingly powerful.

HOSTAGE TO PLEASURE is probably best enjoyed in the context of the series as there are various factions and hints of further troubles sprinkled in the storyline. In fact, Ashaya first appears in the previous book, MINE TO POSSESS, which offers up a tiny taste of what is to come in HOSTAGE TO PLEASURE. I can´t wait to see what is in store of us next in this series!

Nalini Singh never fails to captivate me thoroughly with each book in her Psy-Changeling series. Without a doubt, she is one of the best at combining passion, lovable characters, and phenomenal world building into one intricate and fascinating series. HOSTAGE TO PLEASURE is yet another hit for this talented author!

4) Mass Market Paperback Book Hostage to Pleasure (Psy-Changelings, Book 5) by Berkley. I have read all five books in this series and this is my favorite, perhaps, because Dorian has his own problems and is not the perfect changling. What I love about all these books is that the previous characters do not just make cameo appearances or are brought back just to remind us they exist, but are an intricate part of these stories and continue to develop in their own right independent of the current plot. The final chapter in this book had me quite emotional and reminded me how important feeling and emotion can be. I would never want to be a psy but I love to read about this unemotional race and how they cope or in this case escape. Begin at book one and you will not be disapponted.¤

5) Mass Market Paperback Book Hostage to Pleasure (Psy-Changelings, Book 5) by Berkley. This was an okay addition to the series, think it may be time to fcousing on the other side (wolves). When are the hybrids babies coming-----all theses "Mates," but no babies yet??????? lw¤
