1) Mass Market Paperback Book Honeymoon by Grand Central Publishing. Hailed as the 2005 International Thriller of the Year, Honeymoon is a quick, fast paced read that I would love to say will keep you on the edge of your seat. However, for me, it did not. While I was able to read this book in one sitting, it held very little mystery for me. Nora Sinclair is a selfish, conniving, money hungry black widow with nothing more to do with her life but have sex with rich men and then kill them off as she steals their offshore money and puts it in her own account. All this is revealed within the first couple of pages.

As the story goes along we are introduced to an insurance agent who is actually an undercover FBI agent named O´Hara. I really like O´Hara at first but then he got greedy and did something that really just pissed me off. But I won´t get into that because it will spoil the book for others. Throughout the book, there are mysterious people trying to figure out Nora Sinclair (we aren´t told who these people are until the end of the story but I had it figured out long before then). While the book doesn´t hold much mystery, it is well written in that same Patterson way we have all come to know and love.

I guess my problem with this book and that I like a mystery that I don´t know who the killer is until the very end. This book I knew the killer as soon as it started. I´ve read a lot of James Patterson novels and am a big fan of his Alex Cross series, however, I didn´t experience that same feeling with Honeymoon. All in all, it was a big let down for a book that was so hyped.

2) Mass Market Paperback Book Honeymoon by Grand Central Publishing. Dumb plot. Poorly written. Inane dialogue.

This guy is turning out more books per year that Robert Parker. And of about the same quality.

All of that equals no more Patterson for me.¤

3) Mass Market Paperback Book Honeymoon by Grand Central Publishing. I enjoyed this book, as I enjoy all of Mr. Patterson´s books. This story line was quite familiar to me as it reminded slightly of the movie black widow. If I try to explain it, Ill just give it all away just read the book it was suspenseful and not always easy to anticipate which is always a plus. there were unexpected twists and turns that keep you guessing and glued to the pages. A great read from an awesome writer.¤

4) Mass Market Paperback Book Honeymoon by Grand Central Publishing. Usual Patterson...hard to put down, enjoyable read, but nothing ground breaking. Nora was a likeable murderer. At times we could predict where the book was taking us but it still left us with enough twists and turns to keep the pages flipping.¤

5) Mass Market Paperback Book Honeymoon by Grand Central Publishing. This is the worst book I´ve ever read. I´m not kidding. It would pale in comparison to anything a high school student could write in a creative writing class. It KILLS me that there are TWO authors...two people put their heads together to mastermind this epic trash? Seriously? And what´s with all the heinous product name dropping? And why are the chapters so freaking short? I love another reviewer´s comment about the sailboat cover...maybe the part where they were on a sailboat was edited out, because that chapter only filled one page, instead of the massive FOUR PAGE chapters us readers are supposed to wrap our puny intellects around. ( phew! I need to take a break after reading ten sentences! Maybe I´ll go have a pint of Ben And Jerry´s Cherry Garcia Ice Cream while I write this review at my Macintosh Pro G5 With Dual Core Intel Xeon Processor!)

Insert expletives. Lots of them. I hate myself for reading this book.¤

6) Mass Market Paperback Book Honeymoon by Grand Central Publishing. When FBI agent John OHara first sees her, she seems perfect. She has the looks. The career. The clothes. The wit. The sophistication. The tantalizing sex appeal. The whole extraordinary packageand men fall in line to court her. So why is the FBI so interested in Nora Sinclair? Because mysterious things keep happening to people around her, especially the men. With the irresistible attraction of the greatest Hitchcock thrillers, HONEYMOON is a sizzling, twisting tale of a woman with a deadly appetite and the men who dare to fall for herand James Patterson will keep readers guessing until the last deadly kiss.¤
