1) Paperback Book iMac For Dummies (For Dummies (Computer/Tech)) by For Dummies. I bought this when I bought my new iMac. It really helped me get up and running. Although I have to say the iMac is pretty easy to operate right out of the box, unlike the "other guys". Still there a few things I didn´t quit get, like "disk images". The humor was a plus. A good addition to my library.¤

2) Paperback Book iMac For Dummies (For Dummies (Computer/Tech)) by For Dummies. Book is not easy to follow and I agree with another reviewer that the book spends more time telling you about things the mac can do and less about explaining how to do them.¤

3) Paperback Book iMac For Dummies (For Dummies (Computer/Tech)) by For Dummies. Utterly useless! This thing reads like an add for Apple! Have just switched from a PC to an iMac, I thought this book would be useful - it is not. Difficult to use and never gets to the point. All hype and no substance. Very little useful info in a rather fat book.¤

So, being fed up totally with Windows after they switched to Vista, I decided to give Imac a try. WOW. Best computer EVER, but with difference. This book follows all "for Dummies" series with average Joe language and easy to follow tips and tools. A must for all Macs.¤

5) Paperback Book iMac For Dummies (For Dummies (Computer/Tech)) by For Dummies. Five weeks have elapsed since I ordered and paid for this book. It has not yet been delivered to me. I have tried to contact Amazon to ask them to either refund my costs (book price & freight) but only received an automated email advising me that I should track it myself. I have purchased several books over the years from both the USA & the UK but I believe that this is the last time that I will bother. This is the second time that books have gone missing and on one occasion I waited several weeks for a delivery from a book that that was supplied by an Amazon agent who was less than impressed when I gave him a poor performance rating. NOT GOOD ENOUGH AMAZON. It looks as though you´ve lost the personal touch altogether. Russ Railton.¤
