In response to the "real" reviewers up there, I must insist the dear reader take subsequent readings of this fine first effort outside of Lentricchia´s brilliant literary criticisms. It can be done, and the novel will hold up to multiple readings. And I say novel because it´s not all true. Fact is, I don´t know what IS true in here other than thank the good Lord for Frank Lentricchia and all his ilk. Without them the dumbing down of America would almost be complete.¤
