1) Hardcover Book Elmo's Big Lift-And-look Book (Great Big Board Book) by Random House. I bought this book for a friend´s child years ago, and knew I´d want to buy it for my own child one day, too. So, my little guy just turned a year old recently, and happens to be a big Sesame Street fan. When this book arrived, he got so excited to see Elmo on the cover! He LOVES it! We read this book several times a day. He loves opening all of the flaps and seeing all of his favorite characters inside. This book will also grow with a child, because it´s not just fun to look at - it teaches numbers, letters, shapes, and opposites. At 15 mos. old, my son can do the number flaps in order after using this book, and can also identify shapes on the shape page. As an early childhood educator, I´ve seen a lot of children´s books, and this is a great one!¤ 2) Hardcover Book Elmo's Big Lift-And-look Book (Great Big Board Book) by Random House. My 10 mo. old daughter loves this book and it´s alot more durable than I thought it would be. She has ripped off some of the flaps but for the most part they are pretty strong. I am always looking for educational type activities that are fun...my 18month daughther seems to really enjoy all the "lift windows" that are in this book. I would highly recommend.

I had to open all the tabs first as they are really stuck to the page and have to be pried open. If you let a toddler do this they will tear every tab and it will be difficult for them to even find the tabs.
