This is a great book for children 4 and beyond. Love the stories on friendships for the small child. Its wordy and not a good pick for younger children.¤ 2) Paperback Book Chester's Way by HarperTrophy. 3) Paperback Book Chester's Way by HarperTrophy. I´ve loved most of Henkes books and this one has to be one of my favorites. My daughter is so ammused with the story and the illustrations that are very expressive.
4) Paperback Book Chester's Way by HarperTrophy. I was searching for a few new quality books to read to my pre-school grandchildren. Chester´s Way was one of 4 books I bought. I was enjoying the story and illustrations, but my heart sank when a character´s solution to neighborhood bullies was to use a squirt GUN. She also states that she always carries one "just in case". I think that the author could have and should have found a more creative way to address the bulling issue.I plan to return the book.¤ 5) Paperback Book Chester's Way by HarperTrophy. Chester´s Way, is a clever tale about making new friends and recognizing differences. Good for dealing with new neighbors. The characterizations and the illustrations are also a real treat.¤ 6) Paperback Book Chester's Way by HarperTrophy. Chester and Wilson had their own way of doing things, and they did everything together. When they cut their sandwiches, it was always diagonally. When they rode their bikes, they always used hand signals. If Chester was hungry, Wilson was too. They were two of a kind, and that´s the way it was - until indomitable Lilly, who had her own way of doing things, moved into the neighborhood. ¤Page Updated: Robert N.
