My daughter is nearly five and reads these on her own, so it´s very important to me that the content is appropriate for her to read without parental guidence. Not only is this entire series content appropriate, they are wonderfully written! My daughter simply could not stop reading until we finished the entire series. These books may be read out of order, though it´s best to read book 1 first and book 6 last. The others could be jumbled and read in any order. :) The other day I asked my daughter what she wanted for her birthday, and she said she´d like another "cobble street cousin" book for every day of the year. I wish Cynthia Ryland had written as many. They are truly little gems of literature!¤ 2) Paperback Book A Little Shopping: Ready-for-Chapters (Cobble Street Cousins) by Aladdin. My daughter loves these books! They are filled with warm, happy relationships, fun craft projects and girlish adventures she can relate too. Junie B.
