I admit that I am a huge fan of all the contributing authors to this book, but I´m also one of the people who are a little annoyed with these books. Granted, this particular rhyme makes more sense than the original book, but I still think there has to be a better and more entertaining way of counting.
Still, the pictures are bright and who doesn´t love a good rhyme? Once they know their single digit digit numerals then it helps with the teen numbers and onward in a similar rhyming style as the first Chicka Chicka ABCs book.

I absolutely love this book! We used this book for teaching numbers before the alphabet in the original Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, so not being like the original was not a problem. I love the fact that inside the cover has all of the numbers 0-20, and the back cover has 0-100. My daughter is 2 years old and is already counting to twenty because of this book! She loves the fact that she has to search for zero (she also likes I Spy´s for beginners).¤ 6) Hardcover Book Chicka Chicka 1, 2, 3 (Chicka Chicka Boom Boom) by Simon & Schuster Children´s Publishing. 1 told 2 and 2 told 3, "I´ll race you to the top of the apple tree." One hundred and one numbers climb the apple tree in this bright, rollicking, joyous book for young children. As the numerals pile up and bumblebees threaten, what´s the number that saves the day?
