For example, today I was trying to look up ´groceries´ and all it has in it is ´grocer´. From that I can´t tell how to say my original query and I´m left wondering if ´grocer´ refers to the place/store or the guy that works there. Flip through these pages and see how much white space there is. In comparison, my Mandarin-English dictionary is about the same sized book but jam packed containing idiomatic expressions and example usages. When I bought this I didn´t have other options. All I could find were unidirectional dictionaries at the time so I got this one. In retrospect, I´d rather have half a good dictionary than a poor full one.. And summed up by saying poor. Currently Farsi-English/English-Farsi (Persian) Concise Dictionary (Hippocrene Concise Dictionary) has an overall rating of 4 over 10.
