1) Audio CD Book Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Book 4) by Listening Library. Despite being 600+ pages long, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire flies by all too quickly. The story dashes from the murderous presence of Voldemort, to the miserable monotony of Privet Drive, to the charm and warmth of Burrow, to the glory of the Quidditch World Cup, and finally to Hogwarts, where Harry is beginning his fourth year of school.

But the action doesn´t stop there, because Hogwarts is hosting an interschool competition known as the Triwizard Tournament, and someone seems to think entering Harry as a contestant might be a good way to finish him off. While contending with Triwizard feats of daring and danger, Harry is burdened with worrying about the safety of his escaped criminal godfather, avoiding the poisonous pen of Daily Prophet reporter Rita Skeeter, supporting Hermione´s crusade for elf rights, and treading carefully around Ron´s bruised ego...all while monitoring the disturbing signs that the most evil wizard ever known may be rising once more...¤

2) Audio CD Book Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Book 4) by Listening Library. I know I say this every time, but I swear each Harry Potter book is better than the previous one. Just when you think it can´t get any better, Rowling leaves you astonished and frolicking in the excitement her fantastic brand of children´s literature.¤

3) Audio CD Book Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Book 4) by Listening Library. The whole harry potter series of books and film is all about witchcraft. This goes against Jesus and the Bible. If you want to read a book, read the Bible. For a film watch "The Gospel Road"(1973)This great film stars Robert Elfstrom as Jesus and Johnny Cash providing narration and song. Best of all there is no flying brooms or witchcraft of any kind.¤

4) Audio CD Book Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Book 4) by Listening Library. I started reading the Harry Potter Series because a friend of mine said I should. So far I have found it enjoyable. Goblet of Fire was not my favorite. I didn´t like the start, but overall I did like the book and it did get better. This one does get darker, and has its moments of deep sadness. But over all its another year at Hogwars. And now that I have read the book I can watch the movie. I do look forward to reading the next one.¤

5) Audio CD Book Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Book 4) by Listening Library. This is my son´s review:
Harry Potter is what draws me to this book. He´s a wizard with extraordinary abilities. Ron & Hermione are another reason I like this book. They are very good friends of Harry & in this book they help him through the dangerous & deadly tasks ahead of him, like giving him a tactic against a dangerous dragon. This book is set mostly in Hogwarts the fictional wizard´s school.
The Goblet of Fire is a cup that wizards 17 years old can enter their names & it picks out people to enter the Triwizard Tournament, one of the most dangerous tournaments in wizard history. One person from each school may enter and the winner gets 1000 Gallions (wizard money) & the Triwizard cup.
There is a person who secretly helps Harry in this book & he is revealed at the end, which kept me glued to the book trying to guess who he is.
This book is fourth in this series. You need to read the first 3 books to keep up with this one. I liked the book very much & I highly recommend this series to anyone who wants to experience magic & adventure.

7) Audio CD Book Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Book 4) by Listening Library. In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, J.K. Rowling offers up equal parts danger and delight--and any number of dragons, house-elves, and death-defying challenges. Now 14, her orphan hero has only two more weeks with his Muggle relatives before returning to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Yet one night a vision harrowing enough to make his lightning-bolt-shaped scar burn has Harry on edge and contacting his godfather-in-hiding, Sirius Black. Happily, the prospect of attending the season´s premier sporting event, the Quidditch World Cup, is enough to make Harry momentarily forget that Lord Voldemort and his sinister familiars--the Death Eaters--are out for murder.

Readers, we will cast a giant invisibility cloak over any more plot and reveal only that You-Know-Who is very much after Harry and that this year there will be no Quidditch matches between Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. Instead, Hogwarts will vie with two other magicians´ schools, the stylish Beauxbatons and the icy Durmstrang, in a Triwizard Tournament. Those chosen to compete will undergo three supreme tests. Could Harry be one of the lucky contenders?

But Quidditch buffs need not go into mourning: we get our share of this great game at the World Cup. Attempting to go incognito as Muggles, 100,000 witches and wizards converge on a "nice deserted moor." As ever, Rowling magicks up the details that make her world so vivid, and so comic. Several spectators´ tents, for instance, are entirely unquotidian. One is a minipalace, complete with live peacocks; another has three floors and multiple turrets. And the sports paraphernalia on offer includes rosettes "squealing the names of the players" as well as "tiny models of Firebolts that really flew, and collectible figures of famous players, which strolled across the palm of your hand, preening themselves." Needless to say, the two teams are decidedly different, down to their mascots. Bulgaria is supported by the beautiful veela, who instantly enchant everyone--including Ireland´s supporters--over to their side. Until, that is, thousands of tiny cheerleaders engage in some pyrotechnics of their own: "The leprechauns had risen into the air again, and this time, they formed a giant hand, which was making a very rude sign indeed at the veela across the field."

Long before her fourth installment appeared, Rowling warned that it would be darker, and it´s true that every exhilaration is equaled by a moment that has us fearing for Harry´s life, the book´s emotions running as deep as its dangers. Along the way, though, she conjures up such new characters as Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody, a Dark Wizard catcher who may or may not be getting paranoid in his old age, and Rita Skeeter, who beetles around Hogwarts in search of stories. (This Daily Prophet scoop artist has a Quick-Quotes Quill that turns even the most innocent assertion into tabloid innuendo.) And at her bedazzling close, Rowling leaves several plot strands open, awaiting book 5. This fan is ready to wager that the author herself is part veela--her pen her wand, her commitment to her world complete. (Ages 9 and older) --Kerry Fried¤
