1) Paperback Book The PMP Exam: How to Pass On Your First Try (Test Prep series) by Velociteach. The proof will be in the pudding when I sit for the PMP next week. So far, I have found Crowe´s book to be well worth the cost, which I have studied in conjunction with HeadFirst PMP. It´s not too text-bookie, written in a relatively casual style, especially in comparison to the PMBOK.¤

2) Paperback Book The PMP Exam: How to Pass On Your First Try (Test Prep series) by Velociteach. The best! This book is concise, to the point and covers most of the material. Has a very intuitive way of explaining how outputs from one process flow into inputs of the next process. Without this book I would have never understood the flows. The book gets the job done i.e. If you read this book and follow the author you will pass the exam on your first try. Unlike other books that are just an expansion of PMBOK or insult your intelligence this book is an easy read and covers all the material that you need to pass the exam.

Why a 4 star review? There are some mistakes in this book. e.g. the author confuses PERT and 3 point estimate as the same thing. Also, the book overlooks details of Organization Process Assets and Enterprise Environment Factors as "common inputs". They are crucial to understanding the initiation and closing of a project.¤

3) Paperback Book The PMP Exam: How to Pass On Your First Try (Test Prep series) by Velociteach. I can recommend this book and even the price seems high than other books around, It made a siginificant contribution for my exam that I passed yesterday!!. It was easier to understand the concepts of the PM Book with the examples along the book. I had the chance to review it in 4 weeks previous to my exam and it helped me a lot!!!¤

4) Paperback Book The PMP Exam: How to Pass On Your First Try (Test Prep series) by Velociteach. I recently purchased this book to assist with my prep work for the PMP Exam. I have heard wonderful things about this book. I took a PMP class to help prepared me for the test but I needed additional information. One of the gentlemen in the class took his test right after the class completed. He passed on the first try. He also credited him passing to the Andy Crowe book. He felt it was the PMP 101 for Dummies. He thought it really help prepare him. Maybe after I complete the book I´ll write back and agree! So far it is helping to clear up things that were unclear in the PMBOK. Thank You!¤

5) Paperback Book The PMP Exam: How to Pass On Your First Try (Test Prep series) by Velociteach. Passed on the first try, mainly due to this book. To borrow from another series, this book is basically "PMBOK for Dummies."
I found the questions on the exam perhaps slightly harder than those in this book. However, learning Crowe´s material and passing 90% on his practice tests should have you more than ready to take the exam.
I also dabbled with PMP Head First and Rita´s book. Both were helpful in their own ways, but I liked Crowe the most because of his plain and simple approach.¤
