1) Paperback Book Dark Matter by Brane Science Fiction. My 10 year old daughter and I both enjoyed reading this book.

The book was a great read! It was interesting and well written. I was particularly impressed with how S.W Ahmed was able to integrate four significant characteristics of the human race into this wonderfully differnt story.

Here is what what my 10year old had to say-

" I am not uaually a fan of science fiction, but someone must have put super glue inside this book, because I could not pull my nose out of it."

We will be waiting eagerly to read your next novel!¤

2) Paperback Book Dark Matter by Brane Science Fiction. Dark Matter is a great debut by S.W. Ahmed. It´s a great adventure as would be expected by any readers of scifi literature. The story started out slow, but once it picks up, it´s a page-turner. Ahmed has a great imagination and definitely have many believable scientific explanation of how our universe works. There are definitely a lot of original ideas presented by Ahmed in the book, which is the main reason for me to read scifi books. And like some of the reviewers here, I think the book would be better if it has less of a moral preaching. Additionally, some characters, like Jinser-Shosa deserves more development. I would love to learn more about "it" and the Phyrax race. Overall, it´s a good book and show Ahmed´s great potential. I hope there will be more to come. I would definitely recommend this book for to any scifi readers.

3) Paperback Book Dark Matter by Brane Science Fiction. This is a good read. I´ve been a sci-fi fan since the 50´s and I´m from a science background so I tend to be picky but I think "Dark Matter" is one of the best new sci-fi books I´ve read lately.
It starts out slow but picks up quickly and once getting into this book it´s hard to put it down. The author uses a heavy dose of poetic license as to units of measure and the layering on of millions and billions of everything as some of the critics point out but it´s all relative anyway (pun), and so just going with it worked fine for me.
"Dark Matter" actually sort of reminds me of "Star Trek" but with more "waxing philosophical" which incidentally I liked and appreciated because I think it added substance. The author has sort of weaved a bit of culture and some social observations into the story which works very well and rounds the theme out nicely. Well done.¤

4) Paperback Book Dark Matter by Brane Science Fiction. It appears that a few people are motivated by prejudice or jealousy, and are writing ridiculous reviews that have no factual or literary basis. I enjoyed this science fiction immensely. I have recommended it to a number of friends. Everyone who read it thought it was well-written.

5) Paperback Book Dark Matter by Brane Science Fiction. i couldn´t get more than 50 pages into this before i just gave up. the writing is painfully juvenile and the characters (especially the protagonist) are pathetic and one-dimensional. nothing about the opening made me want to find out what happened next; the whole thing smacked of low quality teen novella. will the misunderstood nerdy genius get the girl? i couldn´t care less.¤

6) Paperback Book Dark Matter by Brane Science Fiction. Dark matter constitutes the bulk of all matter in the known universe. Yet to this day, its true nature remains one of science´s greatest mysteries. But what if dark matter actually is just ordinary matter purposely hidden from our view? What if we are only allowed to see a small fraction of the stars in every galaxy, because the vast majority of star systems in our own galaxy are teeming with aliens who wish to remain unseen? Marc Zemin, a brilliant student of astrophysics, is the first human to ever stumble upon this startling secret, when his experiments with wormhole travel cause aliens to land on Earth and whisk him away into space. To his astonishment, the aliens want his help in fighting a colossal interstellar war that is rapidly spiraling out of control. But as he struggles to survive from battle to battle across the farthest reaches of the galaxy, he begins to uncover a horrifying conspiracy at play, striving to keep the different sides in continuous conflict with each other. A desperate race against time ensues, as he and a handful of newfound alien friends try to stop the war and confront this mysterious, powerful force bent on destroying all life in the galaxy. But any hope of their success surprisingly appears to hinge on just one thing - whether or not Marc has the strength to overcome his own demons and face the shattering truth about who he really is. "A sci-fi debut that shows great potential." - Kirkus Discoveries¤
