I personally got a lot out of this book. It seems to mirror a lot of what is going on in my life. However, the book as a whole feels very anecdotal. It cites very little, and gives few examples research wise or in testimonial form of real addictions. That being said, at least for me, the book gives good advice. While my educational background gives me an automatic skepticism of the book, when one is in a ditch, who cares?¤ 2) Paperback Book The Addictive Personality: Understanding the Addictive Process and Compulsive Behavior by Hazelden. 3) Paperback Book The Addictive Personality: Understanding the Addictive Process and Compulsive Behavior by Hazelden.
