1) Hardcover Book Catholicism without the Guilt by Outskirts Press. A superb book written by an extremely talented and well-educated Catholic priest. A "must-read" book for all Catholics. The book is clear, concise, easy to read and comprehend. It is the basic key to Catholicism to answer questions we would never ask about our religion, and opens our minds to new and innovative thinking.

We have been blessed for having know Father McNeely on a close personal basis for 37 years. A priest for 50 years, he is farsighted, objective, and totally dedicated to the Catholic Church.

We have provided a copy of Father McNeely´s book to many of our friends here in Hawaii, as well as throughout the mainland, primarily in Arizona, Connecticut, and Iowa. They were all extremely impressed with Father McNeely´s talent as an author, his extensive background as a priest, and his truly down-to-earth book concerning the Catholic religion.

In summary, Father McNeely is the "Best of the Best". He is a "one of a kind" pastor, dedicated to the enhancement of the Catholic religion and parishioners of the Catholic Church. His book should receive the widest dissemination to Catholics of all parishes. He is people oriented, and is a breath of fresh air to enhance the understanding of our Catholic religion. His genius and honesty to communicate in context with people in all walks of life and religious faiths is highly commendable.

2) Hardcover Book Catholicism without the Guilt by Outskirts Press. My sister gave me this book for my birthday, and honestly when I received it I was not impressed. I started reading and could not put it down. As a "mature" Catholic, a lot of the changes made me uncomfortable within my own faith. I go to church, sometimes. This book, and Father McNeely´s insite made me look deeper into myself. I had come to the belief that you don´t have to be inside a building to be with God, or to be in church. I have found my church´s in the sunset, special places that the human touch could not have accomplished and in the hugs of my niece and grandchildren. God loves us, not for what we do, but for who we are. We are not perfect people, we have to keep trying and that is what makes us who we are. This book made me feel like I was not the "bad catholic" I thought I was. I am still searching for my total guiltless feelings, but this book gave me the tools and inspiration to keep trying. Thanks to my little sister for her continued support and love.¤
