This was an OK DVD. I would recommend it more for a beginner since much of what was covered one would presumably already have a good grasp of as an advanced or intermediate model builder.¤ 2) DVD Book REALISTIC ARMOR FINISHING TECHNIQUES by Compendium Films. This is a darned fine DVD for armor modelers. While I have multiple books that cover the same subject (MiG´s, the Armor modeling series, etc) things make a lot more sense when you actually see the laying down of the technique. In particular, the rust and chipping techniques are very well done and the explanations are very helpful.¤ 3) DVD Book REALISTIC ARMOR FINISHING TECHNIQUES by Compendium Films. Having watched this video I can say that it is worth the price to those who have little experience in painting. It gives some very helpful advice to even the intermediate modeler. A good model club buy for their members library. All this information can be found for free elsewhere, however if your like me and need to visualize something to grasp it, then this is an excellent buy.¤ 4) DVD Book REALISTIC ARMOR FINISHING TECHNIQUES by Compendium Films.
