You know, this book seemed to have lots of promise, but from the B&B´s we chose to stay at on our trip to Italy, the dreamyness was not always quite as nice as indicated in the book.

Overall, I rate it a 4 for exploring a different perspective to italy and suggesting routes and trips as well as offering a fun travel perspective.¤

Someone I met at a business meeting recommended this book to me. We booked 2 out of our 4 hotels out of Karen Brown´s books and they were great! We booked a low cost place which was small, but cute, super clean and the staff were fabulous and we booked a 4 star place which was just unbelievable (Castelletto di Montebenichi). We were not nearly as pleased with the two places we booked through another source so we will use Karen Brown for all hotels next time!¤
