1) Magazine Magazine Zoobooks by Wildlife Education Ltd. If you are thinking of ordering a magazine and want something that is a bit more National Geographic like and want to skip the ads, this is a good magazine to consider. A huge plus for this magazine is it is ad free.

Each magazine covers one animal, or one type of animal, with lots of information about the animal. There is usually a puzzle page, a centerfold spread with drawings, pictures, and detailed information about the animal and where it lives.

The magazine is filled with lovely pictures. There are drawings such as the leg and foot bones of an elephant that only enhance the text. If a child did nothing but look at the pictures, the child would learn something.

I particularly like the fact that if an animal is endangered it deals with the facts and information in a very straight forward manner. It does not get into large discussions about how to save the animal by turning off lights, with little or no connection between the two. Rather this magazine gives factual information and helpful ideas.

If you are a homeschooler or a teacher or a parent with a child, this is a great addition to your monthly library.¤

2) Magazine Magazine Zoobooks by Wildlife Education Ltd. I have been ordering Zoobooks for several years for my grandson. He loves them. When we go for hikes on our city trails or to the zoo, he is always giving me information that he learned in Zobooks on the animals we see. I am fascinated with all the knowledge he has gained from Zoobooks.¤

3) Magazine Magazine Zoobooks by Wildlife Education Ltd. Umm. Can´t review the product but am frustrated by the delay. Or do they all come at once? Who knows? Amazon has stayed in touch but the actual vendor doesn´t seem to be keeping up. My kiddo wants them bad so I hope they are as good as the commercials make them seem!¤

4) Magazine Magazine Zoobooks by Wildlife Education Ltd. This was my favorite magazine when I was a kid, and now I´ve subscrubed for my three-year-old nephew who loves it as well. It doesn´t look as though the content has changed much in the last twenty-five years, only the cover design is notably different, but they´re still as good today as I remember from when I was a kid.
Each magazine features a different animal, and is packed with photos and illustrations showing different species, skeletal and muscular structure, and interesting facts. The pictures and illustrations are great for young kids, and the information educates older kids. I´ve seen them for sale at a lot of zoos individually. The page count is a bit low, but that´s mostly because there are no advertisements. This is mostly a reference/educational magazine, it doesn´t have games and such that many children´s magazines have, but they´re also the kind that you can keep for years and continue to enjoy. I highly recomend this magazine for any kid who loves animals. Would also be good for a classroom, I´d think.¤

5) Magazine Magazine Zoobooks by Wildlife Education Ltd. We subscribed to Zoobooks for our son as a gift for his birthday last year. He loved borrowing copies from the school library and has always been extremely interested in animals. I knew that Zoobooks was high-quality and no advertising, so it would be money well spent. He has loved getting the magazine each month and makes a point of marking the calendar when one issue arrives so he can count ahead and know when to expect the next one. He reads every issue cover to cover, again and again, and is proud of his collection. As it´s getting close to his birthday this year, he made a point of telling me that he would really like to keep getting Zoobooks, so we have renewed our subscription for another year. I highly recommend this magazine.¤

6) Magazine Magazine Zoobooks by Wildlife Education Ltd. Simply written and beautifully illustrated. Each monthly issue "captures" one of 60 different animals through magnificent photography, illustrations, diagrams, descriptions and includes interactive activity pages. Kids get "up close and personal" with the world´s most amazing creatures.¤
