1) DVD DVD Great Old Amusement Parks by Wqed Multimedia. I love this dvd.
I use to see this on the public stations, and always watch it when I could.
I had to get my own dvd.¤

2) DVD DVD Great Old Amusement Parks by Wqed Multimedia. Boy, whenever I´m feeling down or winter has got me snowed in, I can pop in this video and enjoy a smile. This is a wonderful 60 minute video that features early amusement park footage and many wonderful theme parks many of which are still in operation today. It´s done in a narrative with scenes of rides (the main focus is on rollercoasters) and it visits such parks as Kennywood, Whalom Park of Massachusetts, Coney Island, Santa Land, Cedar Point and Lake Compounce in Bristol CT.
Very interesting stuff about the rollercoasters and some rides like the whip that are not really around anymore. I found myself remembering going to amusement parks as a child and this video really takes you back. For me as a kid, it was Rocky Point in Warwick, RI. Adults and kids will really like this video.¤
