1) Hardcover Book I'm a Big Sister by HarperCollins. I bought this book for my granddaughter for Christmas. She´s going to have a baby brother in March so I thought this would help prepare her for his arrival. My daughter-in-law says it´s well written. I also bought a potty training book by this author which is also well written. I trust her opinion as she is a wonderful mother!¤

2) Hardcover Book I'm a Big Sister by HarperCollins. We bought this book for my daughter when I was pregnant for her little sister. She absolutely adored the book and wanted to read it over and over again every single night. I´ve since bought this or the other book, "I´m a Big Brother Now" for any new big sisters or brothers we know. It´s always been extremely well received by both child and parent.¤

3) Hardcover Book I'm a Big Sister by HarperCollins. I was well pleased with this book. It´s a great way to introduce new things that will come along with a new baby. It covered those things (more of the positive than the negative) that the big sister will face in a very simple and brief way. I know some disagreed with the baby drinking from a bottle instead talking about breastfeeding and other things that they would do differently than what the book laid out. But to me, that´s ok. Just talk about the way your family will do things. This book isn´t going to be the ONLY way that you will teach your daughter about your growing family. Think of it as a supplement, a way to get the conversation going and the questions asked. And, if you are concerned about some of the less pleasant changes that may come, there are other books that discuss those topics. I plan to look into those kinds of books as I see those issues arise.¤

4) Hardcover Book I'm a Big Sister by HarperCollins. We received this book as a gift, and it is the best "baby on the way" book we have read. My daughter (almost 3) loves it, asks for it all the time, and has pretty much memorized it now.

My friend´s little girl who is the same age, and also expecting a little brother, loves it too.

It´s nice how it emphasizes how the big sister can help, and how she is still special to mommy and daddy.

Simple enough for a very small child to understand, and very positive. I just wish it showed breastfeeding as well as a bottle.¤

5) Hardcover Book I'm a Big Sister by HarperCollins. This book was smaller in size than I thought it would be, but other than that, what I expected.¤

6) Hardcover Book I'm a Big Sister by HarperCollins. Warm, loving pictures accompany this upbeat look at how a family grows when a new baby comes home. A companion volume to I´m a Big Brother.¤
