1) DVD DVD Live from Texas by Eagle Rock Ent. i SAY THAT BECAUSE OF THE CLOSE UPS. U DON´T SEE ALL THAT WHEN U ONE OF THOUSANDS IN A CROWD, EVEN CLOSE TO FRONT STAGE CENTER. i´VE SEEN ZZTOP LIVE IN CONCERT AND I ENJOYED IT IMMENSELY. NEVER THE LESS NOT HAVEING TO DEAL WITH THE CROWD PRESSING UP AGAINST U ON ALL SIDES AND STANDING IN LINE TO GET BEER OR TO PISS. THIS IS A MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE.¤

2) DVD DVD Live from Texas by Eagle Rock Ent. The overall performance is good but seems somewhat uninspired. The sound quality however is really lacking, there´s no energy or sparkle to the sound. Very compressed and flat sounding. The end result is that it´s pretty boring sounding. I love ZZ Top and I was really dissappointed with the disc because of the sound quality. I slipped Steely Dan´s Two Against Nature in afterwards and it was like taking ear muffs off. I´m a semi professional musician and also run my own studio so I´m not without credentials as far as being able to judge a good recording.¤

3) DVD DVD Live from Texas by Eagle Rock Ent. If you have any ear for audio, save your money and do not buy this blu-ray. The mix is awful. The only difference between the Dolby and the DTS tracks are that they have turned the dodgy vocal echo effects up a little. Other friends in audio studios have said the dvd was terrible and now I know that all the blu-ray does it give it a clearer picture with the same horrendously mixed soundtrack. The band are great, but this blu-ray won´t even make a good coffee coaster...¤

4) DVD DVD Live from Texas by Eagle Rock Ent. Again I was able to add another fantastic one to my collection, this one is so awesome. The boys, Dusty, Billy and Frank have given us a tribute to a great band, wonderful performance, awesome purchase.¤

5) DVD DVD Live from Texas by Eagle Rock Ent. I rarely review, but felt compelled to save people from this one. The audio is horrible. I tried DD, DTS, stereo, etc. Muddy, muddled, echo´y...not sure else how to describe it. The vocals are completely a mess...like they are singing thru a pillow, while the instruments are wide open. The video is crisp and clear, but often, it shifts scene to scene every 2 seconds. I could make lots of comments about content, but it is useless due to my above comments. I like ZZ!. But this is a disaster.¤

6) DVD DVD Live from Texas by Eagle Rock Ent. ZZ Top, the "little ol´ band from Texas", has enjoyed enormous success on a global scale since their breakthrough in the early seventies and then their groundbreaking albums in the mid-eighties. Now for the first time one of ZZ Top´s legendary live performances has been filmed for simultaneous release on DVD & Blu-ray. The track listing spans their career from early tracks such as "Waitin´ For The Bus", "Just Got Paid" and the classic "La Grange", through their eighties blockbusters including "Gimme All Your Lovin´" and "Legs" (complete with furry guitars!) and up to more recent hits like "Pin Cushion". Filmed in their home state of Texas in front of a wildly enthusiastic audience, this DVD & Blu-ray captures ZZ Top at their very best.
